Numark CDmix1?
me and friends are investing in good PA/DJ equipment.
ive been told by experienced friends Numarks are the best for starting off with DJ stuff.
i found a Numark CD mix1 in a shop for for £220, with 1 year warrenty, this is the best price i found, but does anyone have any other advice or warning with this cd player/mixer, somthing that i might of over looked, i dont want it to malfunction after 14 months etc.
i would do a little more research before buying anything. what kind of Dj are you planning to be? a club dj, a house party/mobile dj. or a wedding dj (that just plays songs… aka human jukebox… not putting it down)
if your planning on being anything other than a wedding dj then i would highly suggest a set-up different from the “all in one”. it cost more but this way if the crossfader goes out… your whole set up is not out.
Also if you dont like one feature, you have to start all over, if you get a seperate mixer then you can just get a whole new mixer and keep the rest of your set up.
either way me being a Dj for 8 years i can tell you one simple rule… buy cheap, buy twice.
