DJ equipment question?
I’m trying to learn how to be a DJ, mixing and scratching, in a rock band with my friends. I don’t have much money, so i’m looking for some turntables that’s cheap but also allows me to easily access my music from cds, mp3 players (i have a zune), flash drives, a laptop, or built in memory, whatever works. I know walmart probably isn’t the best place to be looking but i found this http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9189615 there and it seems to be ok for what i want. i researched it elsewhere but couldn’t find any personal reviews about it. Would you say it looks good? If not what would you say is a good set for around $500 or less?
Turntables play records. Are you looking to mix vinyl or digital music? If you want digital, then you don’t want turntables. You just need a mixer.
