Beginner DJ HERE…Need suggestions for a rockin beginners setup for mixing/scratching!?
I’m very big into House music and want to start mixing/scratching my own music. I’ve been told that I need TWO Cd turntables (because this way I can burn my own music…versus using a more difficult vinyl to scratch with), A good mixer or synthisizer between the two mixers, Probably a good music/mixing program for my computer, headphones, speakers,etc…Any Dj’s (preferably House, trance, techno Dj’s) that could give their suggestions to the most necessary accessories needed to start DJing my own parties? I’m looking to spend no more then $2500 to start off. If i’m not mistaken, I think I can get a pretty solid system for that kind of money…Maybe also some suggestions on the cheapest place online to buy this Dj equipment…Thank You all SOOOO MUCH, I can’t thank you all enough! Ok, if your music is on the computer, all you need to do is get a mixer, one with very few channels, like 2 . (look at links for more info.) For speakers, get some nice ones, preferably Yamaha’s, they are high quality, (look at links) these are $200 each. and finally you need music, for that you could use files on a PC or a CD player.(look at links)
1) Audio source: PC MP3’s or CD’s
2) Speakers: Yamaha’s
3) Mixer: 2 channel, also needs to be powered
